Theodore Otis Flach
Audio-Designer


Theodore Otis Flach is a Basel-based Audio-Designer whose work combines experimental composition, spatial audio and interdisciplinary collaboration with a focus on sound and perception.

He has performed live at festivals and venues including Basel Social Club, Kunstmuseum Basel, Cantabile Variable, Gare du Nord, Elysia Basel and the Martinu Festtage.

He is a member of Deep Space, What-If and Viernullvier Events, and has been studying Audio Design at the Musik-Akademie Basel since 2024.
Besides he is also active as mixer and live audio engineer and worked for various live shows and the Kammermusikfesttag Basel.

The Pärkli-Jam Festival 2026 took place from June 19–21 in St. Johanns-Park, Basel. After a one-year break, the long-established three-day youth culture and music festival returned with new structures and an independent organizing association.

As part of a four-person team responsible for the festival’s overall coordination, I was involved in the full planning, organization, and execution of the event. The role required strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and coordination skills, as well as the ability to manage responsibilities independently and effectively within a dynamic team environment.

The festival was completely free of charge and provided a platform for young, regional emerging artists, while being designed by young people for audiences of all ages. With more than 10,000 visitors, the 2026 edition was successfully realized and reaffirmed Pärkli-Jam’s importance within Basel’s youth culture and music scene.
